Higher Fiber Alternative to Spaghetti

This edamame spaghetti by Explore Cuisine is such a delicious alternative to spaghetti and the nutrition facts make it even better!  One serving (2 ounces) of this spaghetti provides 19 grams of carbohydrates and 11 grams of fiber (8gm net carbs). Since many of us do not meet our daily fiber requirements, this is a great product to throw into your dinner rotation. It also provides 25 grams of protein so you don’t need to add an additional protein source to your meal.

Bring water to a boil, add spaghetti, cook for 3-5 minutes, drain. Top it off with a tomato sauce with no added sugar and have yourself a complete meal in under 15 minutes.  I like to use Rao’s Homemade Tomato Basil Sauce.
